Mavrick Studio Salon

Becky Mavrick, owner of Mavrick Studio, welcomes you to her private salon studio. 

   Becky, a Chicago native,  signed with Ford Models in 1995, and spent the next 9 years working as a professional model in Chicago and Miami. She has numerous editorial, catalogue, commercial and TV credits to her name, including Target, Kohl's, Sears, Sprite, Brite Smile, Anna Sui, Saks, Nordstrom and HBO.

   In 2004 Becky moved to the other side of the camera. She
 graduated from cosmetology school, moved to Denver and entered the salon world.  She began her apprentiship under Steve Trujillo, owner of El Salon, an upscale, modern salon in Cherry Creek North for over 15 years.

   After completing two years of intensive cut and color training,  Becky was hand picked by nationally recognized stylist,         Matthew Morris,  to be one of only three opening staff members of the flagship Matthew Morris Salon, Denver. Matthew Morris took third place on the nationally televised show, Shear Genius and has an extensive resume. During the two years Becky worked alongside Matthew Morris she gained an incredible education and invaluable training.  Becky has numerous editorial and runway styling credits to her name, including local publications 303, Denver Magazine, Denver Woman and 5280, as well as Nieman Marcus and Lotus Entertainment, to name a few.

   Becky worked at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York City for 2 seasons representing Aveda. She has worked backstage styling hair for such designers as 3.1 Phillip Lim, Marc Bouwer, Tibi, Temperley London and Rag & Bone. Becky worked backstage at Aveda's Master Jam in Milan, Italy 2007. She and her work have also appeared on the tv show 'Around The Horn' on ESPN.

   In October 2008 Becky branched out on her own and opened Mavrick Studio Salon, to the delight of her clientele.  Her private studio space gives clients the ideal environment away from the chaos of big salons. Clients appreciate her affordable prices for high style hair. Her down to earth attitude makes you enjoy sitting in her chair, and you'll simply love your hair when you leave.

  Becky lives in Denver with her husband of 8 years, Nick, and daughter Nadia.
